The Short of It

The sun is shining and that can only mean one thing...summer! Yay! This of course means shopping time! After months of wrapping up, it's time to shed the layers and get those limbs out. I don't need much of an excuse to shop but when I realised that I spent the whole of last summer in my denim shorts, I decided it was time to shop!

I found these gorgeous white, high waisted lacey shorts in Topshop. I like the little side zip and the fact that they're high waisted. There is nothing I can't stand more than a little bit of belly poking out so I find that high waisted is the way to go! These look gorgeous and I love the white against my tan skin. The lace pattern adds a touch of femininity while still being super practical. I also got these cute turquoise scallop bottomed ones from Asos. These also have a little size zip and are so comfy.

The photo doesn't do them justice! A little side note, I always buy shorts a size bigger than my usual. I just find that they sit better and look a lot more flattering.

So being the shopaholic that I am, I couldn't resist and bought a few other little bits; every girls fav...shoes!

I know what you're thinking- 3 pairs?! Okay it was a bit excessive BUT I really needed some new trainers as my converse are very loved. The jellies were a total bargain and the heels...well it was my birthday!

So the trainers, these little slip ones are beaut! Super comfy and so on trend. I got these in Kurt Geiger and their shoes are always so long lasting, comfy and so pretty. I am in love with these. They are a lot like the Celine ones which I covet desperately but which are probably x3 the price of my KGs!
The jellies were an ASOS bargain- £12! Can you believe it? They are very comfy and I like the teeny tiny little heel. I feel super cool wearing them although I'm not sure my boyfriend would agree!
The heels were a spontaneous purchase just before I went for dinner. They jazzed up my all black outfit (see below for my Selfie!). Only from New Look and a total steal at under £20. I have recently been going into NL and finding some great stuff. I think they've had a serious make over and they are really selling some amazing pieces.

Can't find the link to KG! Sorry
The NL website is ridiculous- it won't let me go on it at all!
